This keto fried fish burger I am calling the Keto McFish Sandwich because it totally reminded me of the fish sandwich at McDonalds. Crispy fried white fish, with homemade low carb tarter sauce, cheese serve on a cheddar Garlic chaffle.
Pour your oil in a large cast iron pan or a deep fryer and heat the oil to 350ºF.
Slice your fish so they are about 4 inch wide.
In a shallow bowl or pie plate combine the almond flour, cheese, galic, salt and pepper.
In another shallow bowl or pie plate, whisk the egg until its combined.
Dip the fish into the egg then into the almond flour mixture until well coated.
Place into the oil and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Place on a cooling rack to drip off excess oil. Repeat with the other pieces of fish making sure you dont over crowd the pan.
While you cook your fish heat up your dash mini waffle maker.
In a small bowl mix the egg, garlic powder, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Once the dash waffle maker is heated up add in 1/6th the chaffle mixture. Cook for 4 minutes and remove. Repeat this step with the chaffle mixture.
Place the fish ontop of a chaffle top with a slice of cheese and one tablespoon of tarter sauce, then top with another chaffle.
