The hot weather is coming and milkshakes have always been a big part of summer in our house. Normally they are loaded with ice cream and sugar and carbs. That is a no-go for me, but I wanted something to enjoy while everyone else was enjoying their milkshakes.

Tips for Making Keto Milkshakes
Use a Keto friendly milk. We use almond milk in this recipe, if you are not a fan of almond milk you can also use coconut milk, heavy cream, half and half or Macadamia Milk.
Sugar- Free Hazelnut spread. There are a few different brands of sugar free hazelnut spread that are keto friendly, we use Nutilight No Sugar Added Keto-friendly Hazelnut Spread and Milk Chocolate in this recipe but you can also use Organic Hazelnut Spread with Cocoa by Pyure or Belgian Choco Hazel with Stevia. If you are not a fan of hazelnut you can also change it out for the Lakanto Suntella spread.
Use a good blender. It is important to use a good blender so you get a smooth and cream low carb milkshake.
Get a Super thick low carb milkshake. If you want this low carb milkshake super thick, you can freeze it for about 10 minutes and then blend again. It will have more of thick texture, which if you are like my husband you like extra thick milkshakes.

How to Make Chocolate Hazelnut Keto Milkshake
In the blender add almond milk, ice, sugar-free Chocolate Hazelnut spread, cocoa powder and liquid stevia.
Put the lid on the blender.
Blend on high or using the smoothie setting on the blender until smooth.
Pour into a glass and top with sugar free whipped cream if desired.
