I love going to Starbucks and grabbing a Low carb Starbucks drink, however my pocketbook doesn’t always like that. Leaving the house is something I also don’t like having to do all the time to go get a coffee.
Making Copy cat Starbucks drinks is something I have done for years however most of them are loaded with sugar. Since going low carb I have needed to find new ways to enjoy the homemade Starbucks drinks I have been making for so long.
One of my favorites to make is the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, being that it is summer I wanted an iced version and came up with this low carb Iced Caramel Macchiato. While this is a skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato I am going to tell you now, you are not missing out on any of the awesome flavors at all!

How to Flavor Keto Iced Macchiato
I personally love the Torani Sugar Free syrups when I am making my keto coffee drinks and that is what I use when I make my keto macchiatos as well, but feel free to use what you have on hand. If you are not a fan of caramel you can use any sugar free syrup and sugar free sauce to make this low carb Macchiato Recipe.
Variations of this Recipe
You can switch out the almond milk for other low carb friendly milks like coconut milk, heavy cream and half and half. I do suggest if you are using heavy cream that you do a 50/50 split of heavy cream and water if you do not like your coffee drinks overly creamy.
The caramel sauce drizzle on top is optional. That does add additional carbs, so if I don’t have it open in my macros for the day then I skip it.
Sweetener. If you like your drink sweeter, you can use any liquid sugar substitute or granulated sugar substitute including monkfruit, pyure and swerve to make this sugar free Iced Caramel Macchiato sweeter.
Keto Iced Caramel Macchiato Ingredients
- ice cubes
- sugar-free caramel syrup
- Unsweetened almond milk
- Sugar-free caramel sauce (optional)
How to Make Keto Iced Caramel Macchiato
Brew the expresso. You will need 2 ounces of expresso.
While the expresso is brewing, pour the ice, syrup, and milk into the cup and stir until the syrup and milk are combined.
Top the drink with the espresso.
Drizzle the sugar free caramel sauce if adding caramel sauce.

- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free caramel syrup
- 8 ounces unsweetened silk almond milk
- 2 ounces espresso
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free caramel sauce (optional)
- Make your expresso in whichever way you normally do.
- While brewing the expresso, pour the ice into the class, then add the caramel syrup, and the almond milk into the cup and stir with a spoon until the syrup and milk are combined.
- Top the drink with the espresso and drizzle the sugar free caramel sauce if you are wanting a caramel drizzle on top.
Adding Caramel drizzle with sugar free caramel sauce will add extra carbs. Not everyone is ok with having that much carbs in their drink so that is optional. You will still have an awesome caramel macchiato even if you opt not to add the drizzle on top.
